Originally I was hired by Design Lighting Products, Inc. with sister company, 2nd Ave. Great Stuff, Inc. who later combined to become 2nd Ave. Design. After much growth this manufacturer of iron lighting and furniture entered the retail scene with their first Scottsdale, AZ store, Iron Factory, Finely Crafted Homefurnishings, Inc. Needless to say the growth during my 13 years as an employee was astounding! While an employee I changed along side the company (or "companies" I should say) illustrating and designing product for the residential and commercial/hospitality industries to creating an in-house graphic design department from the ground up where I ultimately became Art Director producing all the companies advertising in both national and local publications including trade pubs, and all marketing collateral for Dealers, Reps, our retail and outlet stores including all collateral for private label lines. After my departure, I eventually returned to offer my services, going on to produce one of their largest commercial/contract catalogs they had ever had.

Logo & Identity System

Logo: concept based off of a plasma cut metal swirl design that 2nd Ave. used in one of their largest lines at the time. When printed, the metallic silver swirl was embossed,

creating a 3D effect.
